Global payments technology provider, Adyen, has welcomed Hayley Fisher as country manager for Australia and New Zealand, as former country manager, Michel van Aalten returns to the Netherlands headquarters to take up a new role.
Fisher brings over 15 years of commercial experience in sales, strategy and leadership roles and has been with Adyen since 2018. Prior to joining Adyen, she worked for payments and platform companies including mobile payments provider, Boku and cloud communications platform provider, Sinch.
Having worked directly with partners and merchants for the past three years heading Adyen’s channel and partnerships strategy, Fisher’s appointment will help Adyen grow its unified commerce footprint across Australia and New Zealand, whilst reinforcing partnerships with payment partners to benefit Adyen merchants.
Adyen president for Asia Pacific, Warren Hayashi said, “We are thrilled to have a leader of Hayley’s calibre within the Adyen Australia and New Zealand community. Hayley’s background and experience at Adyen will further build on the great work that Michel has delivered.”
Commenting on her appointment, Fisher said, “It’s a huge honour to be appointed country manager. With strong foundations from the success of Michel’s leadership over the past five years, I am looking forward to building on this momentum and driving Adyen’s strategic vision forward.”
