The Entertainment Group, formerly The Entertainment Book, is gearing up for a successful Christmas, providing Australians with the opportunity to try some of Australia’s best dining options and experiences at discounted prices.
Participating restaurants include Catalina in Sydney’s Rose Bay and Capriccio Osteria in Sydney’s Leichhardt, offering up to $50 off or savings up to 25%.
Travel partners include Emirates, Hawaiian Airlines, Europcar and Vibe Hotels, while entertainment partners include Event Cinemas, Belvoir Theatre, Palace Theatres, Strike and Hoyts.
In good news for partners, The Entertainment Group data suggests that 50% of members are first-time customers to most participating specialty retailers and 90% of gift card purchases are redeemed within the first three weeks.
Members are savvy and value-driven shopping with direct intent, which is why everyday grocery, essentials and consumer goods retailers tend to see the biggest uptick in sales. These consumers are simply looking for hacks to save time and money; they do not necessarily shop the cheapest but are open to trying new brands and in return, they often become full price paying customers.
With memberships priced at $70, those who sign up between now and 15 January 2025, receive a bonus multi-city upgrade and a free $20 Visa gift card.
Every membership sold donates 20% to charities – and this year Entertainment Group has confirmed that $110 million has been raised since being established in 1994. Among the 50,000 fundraising partners are McGrath Foundation, Cancer Council, Endometriosis Australia and RSPCA.
