From its brewery in Suva, Fiji, Paradise Beverages today renewed its sponsorship as the official beer and spirits sponsor of Fiji’s biggest sporting event, the PGA Fiji International 2015, which takes place from 15-18 October.

The agreement will see Vonu Pure Lager as the tournament’s official beer, with the award-winning Fiji Rum Company range named as the event’s official spirits range.

Said Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Ltd General Manager Tony Scanlan, “The Fiji International is an internationally-renowned tournament that showcases Fiji and its products to the world. Through Vonu, our premium Fijian beer, and our internationally acclaimed Fiji Rum Company range, we are delighted to continue our support for the event for a second year running.”

The agreement will see Paradise Beverages supply beer for all the Fiji International functions including the Official Tournament Welcome Dinner, the Fiji International Cut Party as well as all the event’s corporate hospitality areas.

Paradise Beverages’ Fiji Rum Company range recently received international recognition, with the Rum Liqueur winning a gold medal at the 2014 Wines & Spirits wholesalers of America Competition and the 8YO Rum Liqueur and 8YO White Rum taking gold and silver respectively in the recent San Francisco International Spirits Competition.

Paradise Beverages (Fiji) Limited is the latest in a string of partners to support the Fijian Government’s drive to increase golf tourism through the Fiji International including the Intercontinental Golf & Spa Resort, Natadola and Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course.
