QIC Real Estate is bringing joy this Christmas by celebrating the unsung heroes who embody the true spirit of the festive season.

Launching across 17 QIC shopping centres, the ‘Joy Bringers’ campaign partners with over 40 community groups, schools, hospitals, and charities to spread holiday cheer. From coordinating Santa hospital visits, organising food and toy donations, to fundraising for local causes, the ‘Joy Bringers’ support those most in need during the festive season.

QIC is also teaming up with retail brands for giveaways and holiday experiences, including the chance for shoppers to win over $172,000 in gift cards, alongside a family holiday to Uluru, thanks to Intrepid, and a $5,000 major gift card thanks to Mattel. These promotions are complemented by community-driven initiatives during Christmas.

QIC Real Estate head of marketing, Bronwyn Cooper said, “We’re excited to spotlight our ‘Joy Bringers’ this Christmas – those passionate individuals who fill their communities with festive spirit. Christmas is a special time for all of us, but it can also be a challenging period for many. That’s why we’re committed to supporting our community with meaningful local initiatives, like Santa visits to maternity wards, toy drives, and bringing carolers to our centres.

“Beyond that, we want to celebrate those who make Christmas magical in their own unique ways. We all know someone who puts up their Christmas tree in November, handwrites cards, or plays carols on repeat. These are the people who bring joy to our lives, and this year, we’re saying thank you for making Christmas so special.”

QIC’s Christmas activations include Santa photography featuring Auslan Santa sessions, sensitive Santa, baby’s first Christmas, and pet photography; charity gift wrapping stations; tree lighting events; workshops and activity stations, as well as free family entertainment.

Christmas markets and community donations feature at Robina Town Centre, Eastland, and Canberra Centre, while adults can enjoy a pop-up gin bar at Canberra Centre. Special offers, extended trade hours, and Black Friday announcements will be part of the QIC Christmas 2024 campaign.
