Ebony Eagles, designer and director of fashion label, Auguste The Label, was recognised as Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year in 2017 and since then, her business has grown from strength to strength.
Eagles has risen to prominence for her commitment to the earth, environment and feminine designs. Starting her own label, ‘Ebony and Eve’ at just 22, she has been sewing and drawing her entire life, having been taught by her mother and grandmother.
Auguste The Label was launched in 2015 while Eagles was living in Bali, when she recognised a gap in the market for a label that was not defined or dominated by trends. Driven by her passion for giving back and using her platform for good, Eagles continually raises money for charitable foundations including The United Nations.
Originally focused on the bohemian trend mixed with vintage floral prints, Auguste has evolved as a brand leaning more towards chicer silhouettes defined by a feminine aesthetic with an edge, which are worn by leading figures including New Zealand model, Georgia Fowler, Australian model, Dominique Elissa and global influencer and entrepreneur, Elle Ferguson.
Auguste The Label is available online and in-store at its two bricks-and-mortar locations in Brisbane, QLD and Byron Bay, NSW with a Sydney store in the pipeline.
