With the arrival of the winter school holidays, Battery World Campbelltown owner, Michael Sookaloo, is going the extra mile for his customers as he powers up the local four-wheel drive community for off-grid adventures.
Battery World Campbelltown has been sponsoring Macarthur District 4WD Club for more than two years, hosting events at the store to raise awareness about the importance of safety and best practices around batteries and off grid portable power.
“When I first took over the Campbelltown store, I had limited knowledge about four-wheel driving, off grid battery power and the joys of off-grid camping,” Sookaloo said.
“Since getting involved with the club and Battery World, I am now a self-acclaimed four-wheel drive enthusiast – I love learning from the members and offering my advice on all things battery related, especially in the lead-up to school holidays and peak camping season.
“Partnering with Macarthur District is the perfect collaboration. Battery World has everything you need to power up your four-wheel drive, your caravan or trailer and next off-grid adventure, so the local community can enjoy the winter holidays no matter where they are.”
Sookaloo is looking forward to greater involvement with the Macarthur 4WD club and its members. He is keen to get involved in future events for collaboration and helping enthusiasts and beginners in powering their off-grid camp sites.
Battery World franchise development manager, Warren Ratliff, recently introduced and presented Battery World at the Macarthur 4WD Club monthly meeting that was hosted at Battery World Campbelltown, with the aim of educating members on batteries and safe practice.
