QIC is inviting Australians to embrace their inner child with the launch of its Merry Everything Christmas campaign.
Running at 18 QIC centres across the eastern seaboard, customers can enjoy a range of activations, entertainment, and competitions – designed to celebrate the festive spirit and deliver a memorable shopping experience.
The Merry Everything campaign will continue until Christmas Eve, to help boost foot traffic and increase sales across QIC’s centres in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT during the festive season which represents close to one-quarter (23%) of QIC’s annual centre sales.
Participating centres are rewarding shoppers as part of a Spend to Win campaign, in which customers can win instant prizes and share in more than $250,000 in gift cards.
QIC head of marketing, Bronwyn Cooper said many families have felt cost-of-living pressures this year, so QIC will be bringing affordable and fun entertainment this festive season.
“As part of Merry Everything, our centres will be holding plenty of free and low-cost events to bring families together and offer valued experiences to our local customers. The holidays are a time to create special memories with the ones we love most, and Merry Everything invites Australians to share the joy and channel their inner child this Christmas,” she said.
As part of the Merry Everything campaign, QIC has launched the Naughty or Nice Quiz. Shoppers can determine whether they are likely to be on Santa’s naughty or nice list by entering the online quiz – with all participants going in the draw to win a $1,000 gift card.
“We’re excited to see what comes out of the Naughty or Nice Quiz. We all know the people in our family who are naughty and leave their shopping to the last minute, and those who are nice. We’re looking forward to uncovering some interesting insights about where Australian shoppers land on the scale,” Cooper added.
QIC’s Christmas activations include Santa photography, letters to Santa stations, charity gift wrapping stations, spin to win giveaways, tree lighting events, workshops and free family entertainment.
Christmas markets and community donations feature at Robina Town Centre, Eastland and Canberra Centre, while adults can enjoy a pop-up gin bar at Canberra Centre. The Champagne Dame will be visiting Robina Town Centre, Castle Towers and Eastland across Black Friday weekend.
