The winners for the TMRRW Awards AU/NZ 2023 have been announced with 25 entries chosen by the panel as the top organisations, businesses and projects leading the way to a better future.
The TMRRW Awards recognise local businesses, organisations, and projects making a positive environmental or social impact. The awards are building a community of change makers to inspire new ways of thinking, living, and working and fostering a culture of collaboration and collective action.
Of the winners, ReLove, pioneers of social housing furnishing solutions in Sydney, was honoured as the Change Maker Of The Year 2023. Through their free store, stocked with premium furniture rescued from corporates and hotels, ReLove empowers individuals in crisis to choose and set up their homes with dignity, while diverting 4,500 tonnes of furniture from landfills.
The organisation has won a prize pack valued at over $70,000 to help them create a bigger impact, including an out of home media package valued at $50,000 from oOh!media and mentoring from some of the biggest names in Australian marketing.
Other winners include Goodbye Gas who won the Breakthrough Award, Nutri V who won the Disruptor Award, and SaltGrass for the Community Champion Award. Latin Stories Australia took out the People’s Choice award.
TMRRW Awards founder, Nick Hoskin said, “In a year that’s been particularly challenging across the board, it’s inspiring to be able to celebrate the amazing companies continuing to create positive social and environmental impact. I continue to be amazed by all the great work happening in our space.
“The awards are also a reminder that the work isn’t done, and we have to continue taking positive steps forward, and encourage others to join us, on a journey towards a future in which people, planet and business can all thrive. The winners and finalists are a celebration of the best of the best in demonstrating their commitment to a better future and my hope is they can be a beacon of hope and inspiration for future entrepreneurs, businesses and consumers.”
Originally launched in 2021 as The Circle Awards, the annual event has attracted over 100 judges, garnered over 20,000 votes in the People’s Choice award and reached 14 million people.
