Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is once again embarking on its annual end-of-year initiative to ensure Australians can enjoy their favourite beverages during the summer holidays.
For the second year in a row, office-based CCEP team members are stepping out of their traditional roles to volunteer in stores and supermarkets across the country.
This week, over 180 Australian volunteers supported the field sales team to assist customers and stock shelves to guarantee consumers’ drinks of choice are readily available. This added support equates to approximately 237 days of additional resources in field.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners vice president of at home sales, Jarrad Mortimer highlighted the importance of collaboration.
“With office-based teams volunteering in stores and supermarkets, we can effectively partner with our customers to meet the high demand during one of the busiest times of the year. Our success is driven by our great people, great service, and great brands. This initiative truly embodies these values,” he said.
Further supporting the initiative, over 160 team members volunteered to head into field on the Saturday before Christmas, providing an additional 850 hours of resource on one of the busiest days of the year for stores and supermarkets.
Adding to the festive spirit, CCEP has also decorated one of its long-haul trucks with a custom Santa artwork. With operations in every state and territory across the country, CCEP has a comprehensive sales and distribution network that covers every Australian postcode.
