Leading wine technology company, Coravin has expanded into Oceania with the opening of its first headquarters in the region.
In addition to unveiling a 5,000 square metre warehouse in Sydney, the company has onboarded a local team to drive the brand’s momentum in one of its fastest growing markets.
Since its introduction to the Australian hospitality scene in 2017, demand for Coravin devices has increased 30% year on year and influenced its consumer market to grow in tandem.
The growth in the Australia and New Zealand market in just a few short years has been incredible, according to Coravin Australia and New Zealand market director, Gary Olasz.
“To improve delivery time and elevate our customer service experience, we knew a dedicated warehouse and on-ground team were essential to this success,” he said.
The company’s expansion coincides with the launch of its most compact and affordable wine preservation tool in Australia, the Pivot™ Wine Preservation System.
Designed for the casual wine enthusiast, the Pivot™ promises to keep still wine fresh for up to four weeks. Unlike other Coravin devices, the tool uses a stopper to seal the bottle which is compatible with all still wine closure types and bottle shapes.
