Food-waste-fighting social enterprise, Good & Fugly is closing out a huge year with the launch of its ‘Fugly Extras’ offering– a selection of daily essentials that allow customers to put off their supermarket run and extend the life and versatility of Good & Fugly’s produce boxes with new ingredients.

Fugly Extras available via www.goodandfugly.com.au initially includes six pantry staples: eggs, milk, coffee beans, honey, peanut butter, and cookies. Each product has been carefully selected to align with Good & Fugly’s ethos and to deliver maximum value and optimal flavour. Fugly Extras are available as add-ons to any produce box purchased, with no additional service or delivery fee.

Good & Fugly co-founder, Richard Touirno, has been on the lookout for other ways to simplify the shopping experience for Good & Fugly’s customers and he is excited to be working with a range of local like-minded brands to bring the Fugly Extras range to life.

“Our customers were looking for ways to put off that expensive supermarket shop, and the inclusion of Fugly Extras enables them to do just that. Fugly Extras extends the life of their boxes by taking care of the essentials and enabling them to build on the value of their box while encouraging pantry shopping,” he said.

The launch of Fugly Extras caps off Good & Fugly’s biggest year yet, with seven location launches throughout the year including Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Central Coast, Blue Mountains, Wollongong, Geelong, and the Mornington Peninsula. The local Sydney startup now services over 500 postcodes down the East Coast with the team having delivered over 800,000kg of fruit and veg to consumers since launching in 2020.
