Leading Australian agnostic parcel collection point, HUBBED has partnered with e-commerce marketplace, Wish to provide a convenient, cost-effective and sustainable Click & Pick solution.
Click & Pick is the alternative to Click & Collect for e-commerce merchants who don’t have a physical store, allowing merchants to use the HUBBED network to offer Click & Collect to their customers.
Wish customers will gain 24/7 extended hours at retail locations for parcel pick-up and receive an automatic discount when choosing a HUBBED location as opposed to standard shipping.
Choosing Click & Pick also provides an environmental benefit by reducing the number of carriers and trips on the roads which results in fewer carbon emissions. HUBBED is certified as a NoCO2 business and its services are certified carbon neutral by Carbon Reduction Institute (CRI).
HUBBED founder and CEO, David McLean said, “Consumers are demanding more convenient, secure, and cost-effective delivery choices – especially in the lead-up to Christmas. The message for e-commerce merchants is clear – if you want to enhance customer experience and generate repeat purchases, you must provide greater choice and control.
“Wish has listened to this callout and is giving their customers just that. Partnering with Wish further enhances the company’s objective to be an industry leader in environmentally friendly and sustainable practices.”
Seven in 10 consumers (70%) prefer to be given flexibility when it comes to picking up their parcels, while over half (53%) prefer a collection point that allows them to pick up their packages after work on weekdays and 17% prefer to pick them up on the weekend at a location close to home, according to recent research from HUBBED.
Wish chief merchant officer, Mauricio Monico added: “We are thrilled to partner with HUBBED and provide our customers with its advanced delivery solution. Through HUBBED, our customers now have access to a more cost effective and convenient Click & Pick experience, giving them the freedom to choose when and where they receive their parcels.”
How does it work?
- At checkout, the customer will be presented with several local pick-up options where they can collect their item.
- Customers can choose HUBBED outlets from the list of pick-up options. HUBBED has hundreds of locations nationally, including outlets such as local BP service stations, National Storage and independent retailers.
- From there, a discounted price will be automatically applied for opting to pick up their order.
- Once a preferred location is chosen, customers simply pick up their parcels, from a trusted location at a time that suits them.
