The Access Group has acquired New Zealand inventory management software provider, Unleashed Software to advance its market-leading solutions in the manufacturing, wholesale, and distribution sectors.
The deal builds on the group’s recent acquisition of Attaché, while strengthening its position in the Asia Pacific region, specifically New Zealand and Australia.
Founded over 10 years ago by Greg Murphy, Unleashed has grown to provide products and services to more than 4,000 customers across the UK, EMEA, US, New Zealand and Australia.
Access Australia and New Zealand CEO, Alison Dodd said: “Our approach to the Australian and New Zealand market since acquiring Attaché Software in 2019 has been to bring our leading UK solutions in human resources, digital learning, payroll and finance to the region while looking for local solutions that amplify and innovate how we support customers.
“With 35% of our existing customer base in Australia, New Zealand and the Islands being in the retail, manufacturing and wholesale industry, the addition of Unleashed inventory management software gives customers a more complete, integrated offering.”
Unleashed CEO, Gareth Berry (pictured) added: “Joining Access gives Unleashed a new level of expertise in the provision of integrated software solutions, an acceleration of our product development and gives our customers the opportunity to explore a wider range of ERP and business management solutions from a single provider.
“We set out over a decade ago to give businesses the freedom to better make, manage and move products. Our story continues but in an enhanced way as part of The Access Group, and we are excited to be joining Brendan and the team as part of the Access ERP business.”
