Leading digital solution provider, Zebra Technologies has been recognised with 2024 Australian Good Design Awards in the product design category for its PS30 personal shopper series, WT6400/WT5400 wearable computers, RS2100 wearable scanners, and ET60 Android enterprise tablets.
The PS30 is designed to enable retailers to provide a low-friction and personalised in-store shopping experience, leveraging shoppers’ digital identities and preferences from their loyalty accounts.
Consumers can access shopping lists, dietary recommendations, and coupons, along with real-time directions to items in the store. They can also scan and bag items as they shop, get help from a virtual or live assistant, and skip the checkout line with tap-to-pay.
The WT6400 and WT5400 next generation of hands-free wearable computing are designed for productivity and ease of use, ideal for sorting out goods and managing inventory in the retail environment, warehouse, distribution centre and manufacturing plant.
The RS2100 wearable scanner is Zebra’s smallest enterprise wearable scanner which features a back-of-hand design for comfort and dexterity. It’s specifically designed for easy picking and is simple to purchase, deploy, wear and manage.
The ET60 is the company’s most versatile rugged Android tablet, engineered to endure environments such as warehouses and manufacturing plants. The tablet is drop tested to concrete and built to withstand extreme conditions, including freezing temperatures, blazing heat, dust, and corrosion. It’s equipped with a powerful processor, a high-capacity removable battery, advanced range data capture, and the latest wireless connectivity options.
Zebra Technologies Australia, New Zealand, India and Sub-Continent sales vice president, Tom Christodoulou said, “It is an honour for Zebra to receive this recognition by the prestigious Good Design Awards. This honour highlights our ongoing commitment to provide products and solutions that boost productivity and enhance user experiences across the industries we serve.”
Celebrated since 1958, the Good Design Awards is Australia’s oldest, most prestigious international design and innovation awards program.
